When you first believed in Christ
His blood alone could save
But do you now believe that
He will help you run the race?
Strength He'll pour upon you thru'
The paths you'd dare not take
Be ready to count all things loss,
To gain for Jesus's sake!

Christian, claim the promises
God's written in His Word
And dwell upon a truth beyond the wisdom of this world!
Let us not grow weary for in time we shall receive
The prize He gives to ev'ry child for all eternity!

Do not fear nor be afraid,
The Lord is by your side
If ever you shall falter,
His Word will be your guide!
So come before His throne of grace
And trust your cup He'll fill
With overflowing goodness, mercy
Grace each day renewed.
