Goodbye 2008, Hello 2009!

I don't want to keep looking back at 2008..
Yes, awesome things happened.
God blessed us, God blessed me in many many ways..
But God is going to do GREATER things!
So I'm really excited as to what He's going to do this year! :))

Oh ya! Thank GOD that Sili & Siling went for Uth on Friday. :D
Thank God for prayer on Saturday..

The long walk to my favourite bridge..
And the random talk & questions along the way.
Been sometime since we had such conversations yeah?
I'm glad we could talk some things through before we all get busy.
We should meet up soon again..
With the other random gang member too.
Anyways, really..

My family don't celebrate birthdays..
We don't even say happy birthday to each other.
But yesterday was my Dad's birthday..
And I really wanted to bake something for him.
But it was kinda last minute, so I didn't.
Plus, Chiawen kept laughing when I said I wanted to bake.. HAHA.
So in the end I bought a blueberry tart..
Went home and found my Dad still awake at 11plus.
I dragged my Mum out and asked her to get the camera..
Light the candle and went in the room with a one sentence birthday song.
Simple yet was something already very surprising..
My Dad was super shock, then he was smiling all the way.
My Mum was smiling too..
Took like 2-3 pictures.
Simple, short yet something to start with..
I'm glad I did celebrate my Dad's birthday.
