The Straight Road.

When was the last time?
Almost a year back.

I could see the straight road ahead,
But I took a left turn instead.
Knowing what it would cost me,
I continued walking.
Soon, I realize I was walking in circles,
No wonder everything looked the same.

I was lost & it was getting late,
I needed to get out of this place,
Back to the straight road.

I knew what I needed to do,
Find the exit sign and run towards it.
And that's exactly what I did.
I was out,
Back to the straight road.

As I looked back,
I told myself.
No more left or even a right turn,
No more detours.
Just keep looking & walking straight.
Just follow the straight road.
All the way.
